Senior Expert; Head of Unit European Public Management
Tore Chr. Malterud is Head of Unit for European Public Administration in Maastricht. He gained a cand.oecon degree from the University of Oslo and studied labour legislation and constitutional questions. He followed the training programme for Directors-General at the Defence College in Norway. Before coming to EIPA in 2001, he worked for various employers and business organisations, was councillor at the Norwegian Mission to the EU, and held the position of Director-General within the Norwegian Government. He is the author of the book "Hverdagens Europa" (1992), and has also published a number of articles in professional publications. Tore Malterud is responsible for a module in the Norwegian MPA programme.

Tore Chr. Malterud est chef de l’unité « Gestion publique européenne » à Maastricht. Il est diplômé de l’Université d’Oslo (cand. oecon.) et a étudié le droit du travail et les questions constitutionnelles. Il a également suivi le programme de formation des directeurs généraux au Collège de défense de Norvège. Avant de rejoindre l’IEAP en 2001, il a travaillé pour différents employeurs et organisations, a été conseiller à la Mission de Norvège auprès de l’Union européenne et a occupé le poste de directeur général au sein du gouvernement norvégien. Il est l’auteur du livre « Hverdagens Europa » (1992) et a publié divers articles dans des revues professionnelles. Tore Malterud est responsable d’un module dans le cadre du programme norvégien de master en administration publique.
