Researcher
William Bull (UK/IT) joined the Luxembourg Antenna of EIPA, the European Centre for Judges and Lawyers, as a Researcher on 1 February 2008. Having obtained his LLB with a specialisation in European and Italian law from University College London (in conjunction with the Università degli Studi di Genova), he attained a Masters degree in European Legal Studies at Maastricht University in the Netherlands. His Master Thesis was on Flexicurity in European Labour and Social Security law, while his undergraduate dissertation was in the field of Legal Philosophy and has since been published in Ethic@ (online journal). His working experience includes legal editing for METRO, the Institute for Transnational Legal Research, where he revised various upcoming publications in the Maastricht Journal of European and Comparative Law and the Ius Commune Europaeum Book Series, and English language training in various private sector institutions in the UK, Germany and the Far East (International House, Linguarama and Inlingua respectively), where he focused especially on the planning and delivery of training programmes for professional employees.

William Bull (UK/IT) a rejoint l’antenne de l’IEAP à Luxembourg (Centre européen de la magistrature et des professions juridiques) le 1er février 2008 en qualité de chargé de recherche. Après avoir obtenu le titre de bachelier en droit avec spécialisation en droit européen et italien à l’University College de Londres (en collaboration avec l’Università degli Studi di Genova), William Bull a suivi un master en études juridiques européennes à l’Université de Maastricht (Pays-Bas). Il a consacré son mémoire à la flexicurité en droit européen du travail et de la sécurité sociale ; son travail de fin de licence, qui concernait la philosophie juridique, a été publié entre-temps dans la revue en ligne Ethic@. Son expérience professionnelle comprend un travail d’édition juridique pour METRO, Institut européen de recherche juridique transnationale pour lequel il a révisé divers articles à paraître dans le Maastricht Journal of European and Comparative Law et des ouvrages de la série Ius Commune Europaeum. Il a donné des cours d’anglais dans divers établissements privés au Royaume-Uni, en Allemagne et en Extrême-orient (International House, Linguarama et Inlingua respectivement) où il a plus particulièrement assuré la planification et l’organisation de programmes de formation pour cadres et experts.
