Seconded National Expert
María José Burgos joined EIPA on 1 September 2008 as a Seconded National Expert in the Unit on Public Management and Comparative Public Administration. She has a degree in Law from the San Pablo C.E.U. University in Madrid and a bachelor degree in European Law from Portobello College, Dublin. In 2003 she became a civil servant within the Spanish Civil State Administration Department. Before joining EIPA, she worked as a Technical Counsellor, firstly in the Ministry of Environment and then the Ministry of Justice. In 2007, she became Head of Cabinet for the Director of the Instituto Nacional de Administración Pública (INAP). She was also a member of the Spanish Permanent Recruitment Commission of the State Civil Service. María José Burgos teaches Administrative Law and Human Resource Management at INAP and at the CEDDET Foundation.

María José Burgos a rejoint l’IEAP le 1er septembre 2008 en qualité d’experte nationale détachée dans l’unité Management public et administration publique comparée. Elle est titulaire d’un diplôme de droit de l’Université San Pablo C.E.U. de Madrid et d’une licence de droit européen du Portobello College de Dublin. En 2003, elle est devenue fonctionnaire de l’Administration civile de l’Etat. Avant d’entrer à l’IEAP, elle a occupé successivement le poste de conseillère technique au ministère de l’Environnement et au ministère de la Justice. En 2007, elle a été nommée chef de cabinet du directeur de l’Instituto Nacional de Administración Pública (INAP). Elle était également membre de la Commission espagnole permanente de recrutement des fonctionnaires de l’Etat. María José Burgos enseigne le droit administratif et la gestion des ressources humaines à l’INAP et à la Fondation CEDDET.
